I took my 10 yr old son and his friend to Pine Near over the Memorial Day weekend. Since it was my first time using full hookups in our new RV, Anna offered to help me every step of the way, from parking, to leveling, to getting the sewer and electrical set up.
The location is perfect. Across the street from the outdoor museum, which has a walkway down to the main street with all the shops and restaurants. (Don't miss the Rockin' Horse for stellar coffee!)
The campground is well-organized with a nice central grassy area where all the kids (and adults) played...frisbee, ball tag, etc.
Very dog-friendly for well-behaved dogs.
You can also rent a tipi, which would be fun for the kids.
I am so grateful to Anna for all her help and can't wait to go back!
