I will start by saying that I do not go camping much. Most campgrounds seem to be a 24 hour party. However, my friends are regular customers at Silverline Resort and told me that it is different there. So I went with them on the Labor day holiday. Well, the first night my reasons for not going to a campground were proving true. About 8pm a group of campers across the common area from us began the nightly ritual of drinking, using very foul language, and being loud. It went on for a bit. But than a great thing happened, the management of the campground showed up and made them to stop. We had no problems getting to sleep that night. On Saturday, the rowdy bunch started up again only this time at about 3pm. Again, the management showed up at the rowdies site and soon after, the rowdies were packing up. I was very impresed that the owners of this resort enforced their policies. But it didn't stop there. We had three families on two sites. Not long after the rowdies were thrown out the owner stopped by and asked us if we wanted to spread out an move to the former site of the rowdies. We declined as we were quite comfortable where we were at. We mentioned that he could probably rerent the site. He told us that they most likely would not do that as it was a very busy weekend and there were enough people in the resort. He didn't like to get it two crowded on the holiday weekends as it might impede on people's enjoyment.

We had a great time at this resort. It is a very beautiful location. It was very busy and crowded but it was labor day holiday weekend. We were right next to a large grass common area and our younger kids had loads of fun. The place is very family based. We felt very safe to let our kids ride their bikes and explore the grounds without constant supervision. The lake water was very warm and perfect for swimming. The beach front is all grass with lots of room to spread out. There is a roped off swimming area and docks for swimming and fishing. We didn't fish but it seemed like the fisher people had no problems catching fish. The bathrooms were clean and in good repair. There was a rodeo that weekend. And we explored the town. A fun time.

The bad was it was very busy. But it was Labor Day. There is a minigolf course but it is a bit rough. But they let our kids play for free. They have a very large field for the pet area but we were warned that coyotes had been spotted in the field. And to be careful with our dogs if we went there at night.

What a wonderful place for our family! Our teenagers and pretense all had a great time. Fishing, swimming, grassy spots for games, and a fun western theme town nearby: what more could you want. We were especially impressed that a group of drinking, cursing folks were asked to stop or leave. Our family will definitely be back!

We were targeted from the very beginning!! The owner is extremely rude and has terrible customer service! If you want to be able to sit around the campfire and talk with friends and family DO NOT STAY HERE!!! We were told at 9pm that we were talking too loud and needed to be quiet and that our neighbors were complaining about us. We went around to the neighbors and apologized but they had no idea what we were talking about. The owner is definitely the fun police so if you want a relaxing weekend go somewhere else. We also had to pay per tent not per site which is absolutely ridiculous! It is a nice campground but the owner is terrible and will ruin any sort of fun you are having. We ended up get our money back and going to a new campground which was much more relaxing without some crazy owner watching everything you do!

The campground was location is optimal, but the staff was horrible. We had to move every day, due to watering, even when there was no one coming into our site. We were called out of the lake to move in a timely mannor, thinking someone else was coming into our spot... no one ever came, nor did they water until later that evening. Our friends that came in late, were told they couldn't pump up their air mattress, because the noise, yet there was noise going on all over the campground. They charged by the tent, not by the site and peple. We ended up paying over $120 for one site, one night! If we could have stayed at least 2 nights in the same spot, it would have made it worth it. I will never stay there again and I will never recommend this campground to anyone I consider a friend.

The grounds were nice, the staff was stuffy and made us move to another camp site so they could water. It seemed more important to water than give good customer service. They charged us by the tent and it was expensive. No garbage cans except up the hill by the store. I will never go back.
