This "Amazing" stay at the Willows Lodge was the perfect weekend it is a must stay here if you ever visit Seattle, Woodinville, or the state of Washington. This place is Awesome and the pictures do not give this beautiful Gem of a lodge it's justice! The experience of our stay last weekend. First things first, I have to say that the location is superb and we felt like we were in another country from the beginning of our entire say. I had a nicer room (#116) that was amazing, so if any of the other rooms were similar then WOW! It was a first floor room and by reading other reviews I didn't have any problems with noise at all. The Barking Frog is one of the best restaurants that I've ever eaten in. Make sure you make reservations for your entire stay to get a table. The Grand Marnier Prawns are to die for!!! The Barking will be expensive $$$$ but you have to go in knowing you are about to spend money on food that it well worth every penny. We ate there for dinner and breakfast during our stay. We didn't get a chance to utilize any of the spa treatment or the hot tub but I'm sure that they are wonderful as well. I would also like to think everyone at the Willows Lodge from our Barking Frog service with Kristen; she was amazing! The Lodge staff and their excellent service and the very courteous, motivated Valet guys! Thank You all for making my Engagement Weekend.....Priceless!

Weekend Stayed: 27-29 June

I have been staying at the Willows Lodge regularly for more than a decade and I have always had a great time. It's great for a romantic getaway, a stay-cation, fun for the kids and its pet friendly. It's walking distance to dozens of wine tasting rooms for some World Class wineries, Rock Star restaurants (Herb Garden, Barking Frog) and speaking of Rock Stars its next to the concert grounds to Chateau Ste. Michelle (CSM).

Every room is a Northwest Original ! Adorned with Cedar and Slate, fireplace and coffee maker, every room has a jacuzzi tub and a shower with a digital temperature gauge that let's you bask in the warmth of 110 degree water. 1st floor rooms have walk out patios, 2nd floor has outside balconies. The outdoor hot tub with connected shower jutting out or a giant rock is just outside the spa and is magical. So are the tranquil gardens along the adjacent river and bike path.

The grounds are immaculate. They have 2 resident pigs, herb gardens, fire pits, cocktail and wine bars, and on weekend they serve delicious Crepes. If your planning an event, wedding, anniversary or birthday, the banquet rooms that open onto the gardens are wonderful. On big weekend like Easter and Mother's day they host a delectable brunch made up of farm to table northwest favorites.

Last weekend John Legend was playing at CSM. The concert was sold out as so was the hotel. It was early in the concert season and I don't think the staff was fully prepared for the onslaught of people that day. An hour before the concert started our party of four sat down in the Fireside lounge and ordered wine and some appetizers. A half hour later we still didn't have our food and I was getting worried we'd be late to the concert. I told our waitress we had to leave.

As we were walking towards the door the chef of the barking frog, Bobby Moore, beckoned me and said our food had just arrived. Everyone was hungry so we sat down to chow down. He apologized and was going to comp the whole thing. I'm thinking are you kidding? I wouldn't let him do that, but he didn't stop there, he also said he would commandeer the hotel shuttle and give us a ride to the concert! I'm like Fantastic! I made sure I took care of the waitress, take care of the shuttle driver and I want to make sure I take care of Bobby and the Willows by leaving the five star review because its the service and the Willows Lodge and the Fireside Lounge that make it second to none!

Room Tip: 1st Floor Walk out patios, 2nd floor balconies

Took my wife here for her birthday(29th)and our . (30th). Wonderful location great food and wine nearby...walking or short drive. Several of our favorites close: JM cellars and St. Michelle, Barking Frog $$$ or Herb Farm $$$$. If you can afford the Herb Farm it really is a once in a lifetime experience . But several other less expensive options close by. We did Russell's (15min)and was well worth it.

Perfect place for a special night out (40th anniversary). From the glass of wine at the check-in counter to the rose petals on our dinner table at the Barking Frog restaurant to the special touches in our room and the large jetted tub, the afternoon, evening, and night couldn't have been better. Jon Nelson was our contact, and he helped make this night extra special.

Stayed here three nights in mid-June and loved each night. Service at check in was great, the lodge was beautiful and the room was rather large for the base option. I have never seen a shower where you put in the exact water temperature you want--that was pretty cool. When we visit a city (Seattle), we prefer to stay on the outskirts and drive in, and this was the perfect place. We took an unplanned half day and toured some of the wineries/breweries/distillery within walking distance of Willow's Lodge. One night, we enjoyed the food on the patio while listening to live music. The only knock on this place is the bar food is just OK--and for the price it should be better. Otherwise, a great place!

Even if just for one night, this is a wonderful place in the heart of Woodinville. The staff is exceptionally friendly, the complimentary glass of wine is thoughtful, the rooms are well-appointed, and you can't beat the location. Not that you have other options, and it is not inexpensive…but you absolutely do get what you pay for.

Stayed here for 3 nights for a meeting. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, the food at the Barking Frog is delicious, and the staff is very friendly and helpful! Can't wait to return! There are also about 30 wineries within walking distance of this place so it is a perfect spot for couples!
