My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at the Apple Country Bed and Breakfast in September. We were looking for a quiet place to stay on our way north, and this proved to be a great place to stay. We had the large upstairs room with the 180 degree view. The room itself was comfortable with a King sized bed, regfrigerator, microwave, and room air conditioner. There is both a back deck and a front porch where you can sit and enjoy the peace of this area.
The proprieters, Mark and Shirley, were both very friendly and helpful. We felt like we were staying in the home of our long lost cousins. We had our breakfast in the gazebo. It was very good: fruit smoothies, juice and coffee with fruit crepes and sausage. If you are a coffee drinker, they will leave you a fresh pot of coffee outside your room early in the morning before breakfast. We stayed here around harvest time, and Mark offered us fresh fruit from their trees. We greatly enjoyed the peaches, apples, and nectarines.
As noted in a previous review, this is a working ranch, and the house is surrounded by orchards. So, if you are looking for a posh resort hotel, this is not the place for you. However, if you are looking for friendly and helpful proprieters, a clean comfortable room, and a tasty breakfast, this is a great place to stay. We would really like to stay here on our next trip to this area.
