We always enjoy this one and will continue to visit each time were tasting. We prefer the whites here and they are reasonably priced

“Best Cabernet Sauvignon in the Yakima Valley”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 May 2008

Just spent our thrid year in a row tasting wines all over the Yakima valley at the annual "Spring Barrel" tasting. In my opinion the Eaton Hills Cabernet Sauvignons are the best of this valley, in particular the grapes coming from the Konowac vineyards. If you can lay your hands on a 2002 or 2003 reserve you will have a wine that rivals some of the best coming out of the Napa Valley. In fact the Konowac 2003 reserve took a best of show at a California tasting event. (Sorry don't remember the exact show). Ed Stear is a great host and his wines are all worth tasting, whether you like big reds like myself or the sweeter wines. This winery has them all and they are all great!
