Beautiful resort home at the end of a mountain road -- this home has everything!
We rented the house for a family reunion. My mother uses a wheelchair, and she had access to the ground level. This included the living room and fireplace, fully equipped kitchen (induction oven, digital dishwasher, microwave, glassware, plates, silverware, pots, pans, bowls), dining table for 10 people, deck, 1 bedroom, 1 full bath, a whirlpool bath, and endless views of the surrounding forest! The loft above included the master suite (with bath) and a game room. The basement level included 3 more bedrooms with 3 baths, a tv room, an office with WIFI connection, and the laundry room. There were ample pillows, towels, soap, toilet paper, paper towels, dish detergent, and basic condiments (salt, oil, vinegar, dried herbs) for our needs.
There were a couple concerns. I consider them minor, but they might be more important to other travelers.
1. Though the house is secluded and you can't see or hear any neighbors (for the most part), noise carries inside the house. People talking in the kitchen or living room can be heard clearly in the master bedroom and in the bedroom directly below the kitchen.
2. The kitchen has pretty knotty pine cabinets, but there are no handles. (You pull them open by grabbing the cabinet doors at the perimeters.) This was a little difficult - especially for those with physical limitations.
