Stayed 2 nights in late December; after snow and through new snow. Wonderful front large bedroom with King and adjoining sitting room. The breakfasts are to die for in quantity, quality and variety. The cats, especially the young female that adopted our room are a true joy. Parking after a snow can be a little challenging, but this old Yankee survived that and negotiating the less steep hills around Berkeley Springs easily.
A previous post claimed a cafe down on the main street (US 522) was as good as Lot 12 and not as pricey and larger portions. Well forget that. The chef's sister desires to sell the property and the sign says: "Closed, not to reopen". Lot 12, as always, was superb as was Tari's, although Tari's no longer has their great French Onion soup; minor disappointment.
