My wife and I stopped here recently and was very disappointed. My wife ordered an omelet platter and her bacon had two hairs on it. I had the homestead breakfast and it was also a bad pick. My eggs were ok but my link sausage was nearly raw, the homefries wreaked of garlic, and ten minutes after I had started eating I was told the biscuits that I was waiting on would take another thirty minutes. I agreed to accept toast as a substitute. I got the toast after I was finished with my meal and it had only a trace of butter. My drink was empty for an extended period of time. The manager apologized and gave us five dollars off, wow. This place needs a whole new staff!

We got a carry out order and it was pretty good. The pie was excellent.

It had been years since I ate at a Bob Evans. Usually I go to Cracker Barrel for breakfast, but I decided to meet a friend at Bob Evans -- I chose poorly. Breakfast was very bad. I know that inmates who get out of jail need a place to work, but these cooks need to have their parole revoked. Bacon was over-cooked. Eggs were nasty. Biscuits were not made-from-scratch. Gravy was brown and burnt. Totally disgusting. Don't eat here. Go to the Cracker Barrel across the street.

Stopped in at this restaurant for a quick bite on the way to the grocery store. Parking lot was more than half-empty, I thought it;d be a good bet. Boy, was I wrong. We were seated promptly. After a short wait, a server arrived to trake our drink order. After an extended wait, our drinks were delivered and our food order taken. We didn't order anything difficult, but we waited at least 45 minutes for the food to be delivered. I asked for a coffee refill, but never saw the waiter again until he dropped off the bill. And yes we had to wait for that as well. We were just about ready to walk to the cashier, when he finally brought the bill. And all this while the restaurant was 3/4 the way empty. I doubt they could handle a busy day. When I complained at the register, her response was, "Well, that's the way xxxx is". Bob must be rolling over in his grave. I've just made my last visit to a Bob Evans restaurant. Unfortunately, the rest of them in the Charleston area are about the same.

Not consistent. Sometimes good, sometimes not. Usually have a long wait even when the place is not busy.
