The Blue-White Grill is located on Queen Street - essentially the main downtown street. Metered parking is available on Queen or the cross street. The cafe occupies a single store front, so there is essentially one aisle with the counter and stools to your right and various booths to the left. The decor is probably orignal. Our waitress was upbeat and brought steaming coffee promptly. My sister had scrambled eggs which were light, creamy and fluffy. Biscuits and bacon were good quality. I had pancakes with blueberries cooked in the batter. An order consists of two large cakes - more than I could eat. The pancakes were grilled perfectly, but the batter could have been more flavorful (for my taste). The hash browns were large potato chunks - which on this particular morning were over-cooked. Prices are very reasonable. Will you rave about the food? The ambiance? Probably not, but your visit will result in the satisfaction that comes from comfort food and from supporting a local establishment.
