We were staying locally and recommended this pub. It was exactly as described a classic local pub of the area. Lie being wff=ted back to a bygone age. Wish we'd had ore time. look forward to going back.

Just had the most incredible meal. Atmosphere, food and service faultless!
Busy night (packed out)
post Christmas but everything was perfect. This place is a gem not to be missed! The Duck breast and the lamb shank were cooked and served to perfection!

My friend and I met for a pre Christmas rendezvous an were pleasantly surprised by the great food and ambiance. A truly lovely country pub where we could chat with ease and enjoy a nice relaxed evening with a large glass o Rioja

Looks lovely and welcoming fire in the bar on a snowy night - all very nice.

Rooms very clean and cosy - a few small issues but have mentioned those directly to hotel.
Didn't get chance to eat there so don't know about food quality.

Had booked a double room within the Inn on arrival was upgraded to a small cottage owned by the Inn at no extra charge. Thank You. Accommodation was very cosy, and food and welcoming atmosphere was great.
