Situated just along the side of a walking/hiking/jogging/biking trail by the river, the Terra Cafe in Morgantown offers an unpretentious, but relaxed atmosphere. If the day is nice, you can sit outside by the trail - if not, there is ample indoor seating.
I had a wonderful falafel sandwich and a delicious Borsao Rose (I had not previously known they made a rose). The wine glass was very generous - coming close to what would have counted as two glasses in more pricey Washington DC. The soup that came with the sandwich was a vegetable grain soup that was delicious. The kids (8 and 10) had delicious looking mac and cheeses and lemonade. My wife had an excellent roast beef sandwich.
The service was friendly, but we went for a late lunch, so things were pretty relaxed.
All in all a pleasant experience. If you have young kids, there is a little kids' play area directly across from the restaurant patio.
