Enjoyed the 3 day stay very much. BW had a lot to offer. Suggestion..........Brighten the colors in the room . Have newspaper under the door in the morning. Free small bottle of water upon checkout or after the free breakfast. Keep doing the satisfied service that the hotel provides now. It was a great stay.

Layout is a little weird, but flat spots are hard to find in Morgantown. Parking is sufficient IF the hotel isn't booked solid. Location leaves a bit to be desired, but Sheetz is right across the street if you need a quick bite (24/7). The hotel is VERY difficult to get to during rush hour if you're coming in from the freeway as you must make a left on US-19. Getting to WVU is easy enough as the back entrance to the parking lot is on University Avenue.

Room Tip: Some rooms face the parking lot, others a slope out back. Cars seem to return to the hotel in the m...

I brought my son and his friend down for the weekend to visit WVU and go to a football game. The staff went above and beyond as I would pepper each one with "how do I get to" and "where should I go" questions. Even going so far as to print out pictured/detailed directions to places for me. I will say the first impression of the room wasn't really positive due to the musty smell, but the room was clean and the beds were very comfortable, so we were able to disregard the smell. The breakfast was very good and abundant which is saying a lot since I brought down two 17 year old boys every morning.
I hope my travels will bring me to this area again because I would love to see my "friends" at this Best Western!! Thanks to you all!!

Decided to stay here for the WVU game since the recent reviews were postitive and the price seemed reasonable. We arrived around 9pm to check in and they "lost" our reservation but suddenly had a room available for over $60 more than we originally booked for. We decided to take this in stride and just try to enjoy the weekend. Had a sinking feeling as we were walking down the dark, dreary hallway to our room which had the obvious smell of mold in the walls which they thought it wise to try to cover up with some kind of nasty air freshener that smelled like cheap cologne.
The elevator was dirty and had a different odd smell all it's own that we couldn't begin to identify. The 3rd floor hallway reeked of cigarette smoke (we were informed that all the rooms were non smoking due to a state wide ban) We got to our room which, surprisingly looked (and smelled) pretty nice. It was roomy enough, the beds felt comfortable though the bathroom was a little small, which is to be expected in hotels of that type. The front desk called down shortly after we got to the room to make sure everything was satisfactory which I thought was a nice touch. My wife replied that everything was fine with the room. Later on, after closer inspection though there were what seemed to be food particles all in the carpet near the window and pubic hairs on the toilet seat! Exhausted as we were, we just wanted to grab a quick dinner and get some rest, so my wife just wiped the seat down with disinfectant wipes, and we decided to leave a note for the housekeeper the next day to be sure to vacuum a little thoroughly saturday morning. The front desk staff were all very polite and were helpful whenever we asked for a good place to eat, directions ect... After a night's rest we decided we might want to check out and see maybe see if anything else was available but the girl we talked to in the morning said payment was guaranteed when we made the reservation and they would be charging us either way, so again, we tried to make the best of it.
The housekeepers did an excellent job the Saturday morning and the rest of our stay went relatively smoothly except for obnoxious people partying in the parking lot (but hey it's a football game in one of the biggest party schools in the country), the wifi was the worst I've ever experienced in a hotel, it was slightly faster than dialup; and the fact that the impressively sized indoor pool was too cold to swim in, which was a shame. The place has potential and the staff seemed competent, though it seems to need some serious deep cleaning and repairs which leave me with questions about the management. Overall they'd have to make some serious improvements before I'd consider staying again.

As a late arrival, traveling from Myrtle Beach back to Canada, the Best Western service was good. The room was clean altho there was a stale odour..some air freshener resolved the odour. The decor was pleasing..beds very comfortable. Happy for the fridge in the room. Breakfast was very good. Staff pleasant. I would stay here again..Price booked online was $82.

I hadn't stayed here in about 5 years, but I'm glad I returned. The room was renovated and very clean. The pool was crystal clear, and breakfast was very good. I had stayed at the Holiday Inn Express locally and this was just as nice, yet much less expensive. The Comfort Inn in Morgantown is in desperate need of renovation.

We spent a night here on our way to DC and decided to stay again on our return trip. Room was clean and comfortable with good soundproofing. Staff extremely friendly and courteous. Breakfast met our needs. Bathroom is a bit on the small side but met our needs for a short stay. Would definitely return again.
