Stayed in a family room, 2 adults + toddler. Staff were welcoming, friendly and very polite. Room was clean and modern, everything we needed. Bathroom was spotless and modern. Breakfast was brilliant. Would highly recommend!

Stayed at this hotel this week with my granddaughter. The hotel and our room was clean and comfortable. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. We were provided with plenty of clean towels and refreshments on a daily basis. I didn't think it was very noisy. We were not disturbed by the traffic although we could here them in the room above us sometimes. I had seen some negative reviews about the restaurant before booking but decided to try it anyway. If you prefer continental breakfast there is a huge variety of choice and it all tasted very good. However, the cooked breakfast, whilst there was also plenty of variety, it was somewhat dried out and this did diminish the enjoyment somewhat. Great choice of hot drinks too and again staff in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. Parking was never a problem either.

This was a Premier Inn showcasing its customer service. The overall visit was a pleasant comfortable stay with the usual facilities. But the pleasant cheerful reception staff was a credit to the company. Not only did she recommend a local restaurant also volunteered to order us a taxi. As it happened we did take her recommendation, it was a very lovely meal and evening and great atmosphere, as she had described.
Being a big chain, facilities often are the same ie beds,décor, parking etc but staffing can vary considerably. Everyone seemed very friendly helpful. Thank you for a lovely nights stay

Normal premier inn standards, cheerful reception staff and a soft play area for the kids int he attached restaurant.

The only thing that lets it down is faffing around with a "Parking Eye" controlled car park.

Room Tip: The only appreciable traffic noise was from premier inns own delivery lorries, so you could ask to b...

It's a Premier Inn
If you have been in one, you've been in them more
This can also be read as a compliment, as I genuinely believe they have created a strong chain and brand for the service they offer

Pleasant staff and they coped extremely well during a busy bank holiday - even at the busy breakfast time in the adjoining Brewers Fayre

Only downside was the amount of noise at 6am....couldn't quite figure out what it was, closest guess was beer barrels being clanged about

My sister and I had a very good stay and found the staff very friendly and helpful. Amy on the front desk went out of her way to give us any information we ask for.

We suggest that a hand rail is fitted to help went getting out of the shower from the bath.

Our rooms where very comfortable and very clean. Suggest that curtains are drawn on sunny days as we return to very hot rooms most days( it was good to have such sunny days)

My sister had one night when she was kept awake up to 2am and we where very please to find this night was refunded.

Room Tip: Book early and enjoy a good price for a good nights stay

Stayed for two nights on the Premier Inn dinner, bed and breakfast deal, which is really good value. Room and hotel to the usual excellent PI standards, reception staff welcoming and extremely helpful, so no problems at all with the hotel. However, the attached Brewer's Fayre restaurant was not anywhere near the same standard. Dinner on the first night was fine, but not great, breakfast on the first morning was terrible, then dinner on the second night was absolutely awful and breakfast on the second morning was fine (although we avoided the cooked buffet and asked for freshly cooked eggs instead). When we told the waitress about breakfast on the first morning she passed a message on to the chef who sent one back asking if we would like to have a freshly cooked breakfast - did this confirm that the buffet breakfast was less than fresh perhaps? The waitress at dinner didn't ask if everything was okay even though we had both left practically a whole meal each. We were unable to catch the eye of the two waiters who seemed to be in charge and eventually left without commenting. However, we did voice our concerns to reception. That said, this won't stop us from using Premier Inn again as we've had excellent dinner, bed and breakfast meals at other locations. We would say definitely use the hotel as it's well placed for sight seeing and the reception staff are really pleasant and helpful but avoid the Brewer's Fayre restaurant. Oh, and one small personal gripe - please someone tell the restaurant staff to stop calling every table of guests "guys" especially when said "guys" are over 60, it's quite disrespectul.

Room Tip: Please note the ratings are based solely on the hotel and NOT THE RESTAURANT, which would get a poor...
