“Brilliant Location for Exploring Around Norwich”
Reviewed 30 July 2014

Typical out-of-town Premier Inn with a Brewer's Fayre attached.
Well located on the eastern side of Norwich ,easy to get to the Broads & North Norfolk.
We stayed for 3 nights and used it as a bade for exploring North Norfolk.
It has all the usual Premier Inn facilities and has been refurbished with their new dark furniture and larger televisions.
Our room was at the back and was quiet apart from the seagulls feeding on the grass bank.! There was little noticeable traffic noise although we had the window open all the time. The only problem was the heat but the keeping the curtain closed & the window opened during the day helped a lot.
All the staff were friendly and helpful, suggesting places to visit and interested in where we'd been.
The Brewer's Fayre was exactly what you'd expect, not much healthy stuff on the menu but good value. Breakfast was as good as usual. We did buy a £22.99 meal deal one day which was good value.
I see other people have moaned about the car parking but I don't understand how they had any problems, you just give the car details when you check in and they update the parking system.
Location-wise it's very easy to get on to the A47 and there's a large Sainsbury's less than 5 minutes away.

Room Tip: The rooms at the back suffer less traffic noise but the roads are not too busy overnight anyway.

Booked this late so I payed through the nose. Very good receptionist very helpful. Rooms are very good and clean as you would expect from the premier inn.
The brewers fayre next door was also very good and great food surprisingly as I have been in quite a few of them. The location was 3 miles from the town 5 quid in a taxi. Worth staying here if your only here for the one night anymore than that you would be better with the one in the town.

Room very comfortable. Basic on the wall soap. No moisturisers. No biscuits for tea! No air conditioning, went in hot weather, two fans provided in room, but in the end they just recycle warm air. Quiet location even though they said there was nearby road works. Food next door very enjoyable, but make sure you book a dinner slot as it gets very busy. They have themed 'all you can eat' every night. On roadworks, the whole of the are is undergoing roadworks, I think summer will be interesting!!! Thetford horrendous, slow and painful. Plan your journey. Wifi extra.

Room Tip: Not a great outlook from any room as it is located on a roundabout. Dont get me wrong very quiet, bu...

Stayed in hotel for a family break. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very clean, the reception and restaurant have friendly staff. Good food. Rooms need air conditioning too hot, fans just circulate the heat too much!

I had a typical review on Premier In that they were like travel lodge. Well their not, lovely welcome entrance, lovely room, nice and cosey, nice clean bathroom, spacious room. Pub joint onto the hotel was lovely and very well presented and very nice food! Out of the way as well so nice and quiet in the evenings and weekends, perfect little get away for a couple.
