We went out for dinner on a Friday night during lent, decided to give Mexican food a try rather than wait over an hour to get a table elsewhere. There was only one other table occupied when we arrived, so we were seated immediately. A basket of fresh, hot chips and two salsas graced our table, taking the edge off our appetites as we drank our beer and placed our order. I had a taco salad and my husband had tamales. Both entrees were delicious, my husband said his tamales were comparable to those he'd had in Mexico, and the hot sauce was real, not glorified Louisana hot sauce with a few jalapeños tossed in. We both decided we would be back to explore the menu further, as the food was outstanding. My only complaint was the prices were on the high side, especially the beverages. BUT this won't keep is from returning
the food was excellent!
