My husband and I went to Cedarburg for the day (1-1/2 hours drive for us). After walking the downtown area, and stopping by the Cedar Creek Winery we asked the lady at the winery where we should go for lunch. She suggested Anvil - we really enjoyed it. The building is so unique and the food was wonderful. My husband had a patty melt, and I had a chicken artichoke sandwich. We also had fries and pasta salad for the sides. Everything was so good - ate as much as we possible could! Definitely are going to go back - maybe even just for lunch or dinner!

Ordered a "special" sandwich, Merlot Chicken. Pleasant surprise. Delicious. Unique. Would eat here again. Repurposed blacksmith shop. Great old building with good food.

We stopped here after touring the Cedar Creek Winery and the exploring the Cedar Creek Settlement. Had a lot of beer options and great sandwich choices. The "Anvil bites" --pepper jack cheese curds--were a yummy appetizer.

Being an old blacksmith shop made it a very interesting place to eat. Very close-together tables. Good and unique menu. Loud (because of the oldness of the building). Good service.
