We stayed one night at the Glen Loch Inn. It is a very smail and somewhat dated motel. The rooms were quite small, especially the bathrooms. However, it was in a very good location with a beautiful park across the street. The room was very clean and the manager was very helpful in helping us to pick a restaurant. If you were looking for an update Holiday Inn type experience, I think you would be disappointed, but if you are looking for a clean, centrally located, less expensive option, this should work very well for you.

We stayed three nights and were made to feel very comfortable. This is a 1950's era motel, with pink and green tile showers. Every thing worked great, it is very clean and tidy. The rate is very reasonable and includes breakfast. Marilyn ( the owner ) will fix your breakfast, and what a fine one it is. The first morning for instance, she fixed use pumpkin pancakes, a baked egg dish with mushrooms, asparagus and leeks. We also enjoyed fresh fruit, juice and coffee. The other mornings were different but just as good.
We very highly recommend this motel.

This was a very nice little hotel. It is an older property, but is nice and clean. The breakfast the next morning was fantastic. She calls it a continental breakfast, when in fact it was much more - French toast, omelet, fresh fruit, coffee, juice - very nice! The only thing that we were not impressed with was the shower which had only a small trickle of water.

I chose the Glen Loch Inn because of the good reviews it received, and I am glad I did! The area was so quiet and peaceful. My room was nice and clean. The owner Marilyn was very friendly and helpful with good suggestions and directions to area sights and restaurants. Breakfast was amazing! Hand made by Marilyn herself. Much better than the toast and tiny cereal box that you get at the chain hotels. It was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and I highly recommend it if you are looking for a charming little place to stay!

Had I not read the reviews on Tripadvisor, we would have never discovered this little gem. The rooms are small, the bathroom tiny, but extremely clean and newly renovated. Gourmet breakfast in the "music" room and discussions with Marilyn, the owner, made this hotel quite a treat. It's definitely off the beaten path, and that's half the charm. The other is free Irvine Park, just down the street. 100 beautiful acres, of recreation and it's own small, well maintained zoo with Tigers, bears, Elk and zebras among other animals. For dinner, go downtown to Duncan Creek WIne Bar.
