My husband and I reserved a room a the Fo'c'sle B&B because it was Thanksgiving and our son was in the area. What a wonderful decision! Everything was exceptional: cozy room, great view of waves hitting the beach on Lake Superior, coffee and breakfast(delicious) delivered to our room, clean bathroom, and valuable information about the area from the friendly owners. This B&B was exactly what we needed. Bayfield, Madeline Island, Washburn, and Ashland were close by for daytime adventures.

This is located right in the Marina - so close to the Lake that you hear the waves slapping the shore throughout the night. The 2 rooms are upstairs with beautiful views of the lake and a deck that is shared. Comfortable, clean, and breakfast served in your room that is delicious. A place that my husband loved as much as I did.

Room Tip: One of the rooms has windows that face the Marina - both have large picture windows that offer views of the lake.

We just spent the night here for my husband's birthday. It is a wonderful setting with friendly people. Breakfast was incredible and very large. Lots to do like beach walking, go to the waterfalls, and rock hunting. This may be a small town but it's places like this B&B that make it worth the visit.

We we lucky to stay here for one night due to a last minute cancellation - their loss was definitely our gain!
Our room (one of two available) overlooked the marina - it was bright & spacious, although cozy in size. The innkeeper was welcoming and provided us with a fabulous, fresh breakfast presented in a basket at our door for us to enjoy at our leisure in our room or deck. We would highly recommend this B & B to anyone visiting the area!

This is a very small bed & breakfast - only 2 rooms - but we found that to be an asset. The owners focus on their guests and attention to detail. The inn is located in a marina and both rooms have balconies overlooking the marina and Lake Superior. VERY peaceful and relaxing. The rooms are tastefully furnished and no expense has been spared to make them attractive and confortable. There is a gas fireplace in both rooms to add to the charm and to take the chill off on cool fall marnings. The breakfast was delicious and the owner took the time to visit and answer any questions we had about the inn and the surrounding area and attractions. We were only able to stay for one night on this trip but intend to return for an extended stay.
