This will be our 19th year in a row at lake lawn resort! We bring the whole extended family out and our boat to swim and tube in the lake. The views are amazing and the food is the best! I highly recommend a loft for families with two or more kids. If you are staying in a regular room ask for rooms in Sherwood east. The first two rooms (one on the left and one on the right) have fireplaces along with everything else. There you have porch that leads to the outdoor pool and The lookout bar. The service is spectacular and the overall experience is exceptional. I recommend this resort to anyone who wants to have a family reunion or girls/guys weekend out.
P.s. They have other activities besides regular golf like water sports and frisbee golf! I have not been to the spa so please write a review over it if you have!!

Room Tip: Families with two or more kids should get a loft and families with less could get a regular room. If you have two or three kids and still want to get a regular room you can have two kids sleep in one bed and one on a cot(you must request a cot).

We all loved the view from our lakefront room, enjoying the rocking chairs on the patio, after a day on the golf course. Our meals in the dining room were all delicious. My friends made me promise to return next year

Room Tip: Ask for a view of the lake.

Our family went to Lake Lawn for the first time as a result of buying a Groupon, and we just loved it. The outdoor pool was great with a beautiful view of the lake. The outdoor restaurant right next to the pool was also good and a very relaxing place to have a meal. We all loved it, but we probably couldn't afford a stay there again unless it is offered by Groupon in the future. The rooms are pretty expensive.

This was our first visit to Lake Lawn but will not be our last! My husband & I were looking for a place for a relaxing two night getaway that wasn't far from home. Our room was a LL King. It was beautiful and we loved the "wooded lodge" theme! The pool was very nice as were the views of the lake which could be seen from just about anywhere at the resort. The grounds were very clean and the staff was always busy making sure everything looked top notch! The decor is fresh and up-to-date. They had live music by 3 bands that performed poolside and on the terrace by the lake. Our meals at the Frontier Restaurant were delicious and the view was spectacular! We will definitely be back!

We love Lake Lawn. First it is not far from the interstate but yet in a world of it's own. The property is a real resort with many ammenities and accomodations. We have tried several of the rooms and I will touch on that more a little later. If you are looking for a place to relax away from the city but still have some access to food and shopping I would highly suggest Lake Lawn. Three restaurants, lake recreation, and other recreation galore, and the views are so gorgeous. When weather permits you can relax or go do almost whatever you would like. We rented jet skis once and it was a blast. 2 pools mean there is little overcrowding. The staff is wonderful and polite. In the summer there is normally Saturday bustle by the outdoor pool with live music and a waiter service.
Rooms- there are several types and styles and I suggest you review their website and allow some alternate dates because you may be able to get a better deal. They are a little steep on high volume weekends but there is a wide range that can probably fit a midlevel budget. You do get what you pay for. If you are interested in staying at Lake Lawn I suggest reviewing their website and also join their mailing list because they will email you deals when they have them. It is not just nice in the summer either, winter they have a lot of nice things going on too, such as sking packages, on a Saturday last winter we stayed and they had a fire burning in the gazebo and hot chocolate.
I would suggest this place for anyone who is coming to Wisconsin and wants the experience without having to go all the way up north, or want to enjoy a little by the lake enjoyment without having to go into Lake Geneva where it will be more crowded. Lake Lawn is still only about 15 min from both Lake Geneva and Alpine Valley so that is a bonus too. Those in Wisconsin who want to just get away for a night or two may find everything they are looking for at Lake Lawn without travelling too far. Only about 45 min south of Milwaukee, and 2 hrs north of Chicago it is easy to get to from I43. There is a 2 night minimum on a weekend in peak season though. ( Mem day thru Labor Day)

Room Tip: If you are going with a large group consider the Luxury Lofts or large suites, however if you wish for more privacy they do have adjoining double queen and king rooms. All rooms have patios, but first floor is much easier if you don't mind hearing some footsteps.
