Visiting Eau Claire for a graduation, this was a very good location, easy to get to, certainly has everything around it, and easy to get where you needed to go.
Friendly, efficient front desk, clean and comfortable room. Nice breakfast. A good value as far a I'm concerned!

Room Tip: Near a major intersection & freeway, so request a room on the north (back) side for more quiet.

Decent, good quality hotel, close to large shopping mall and across street from good Chinese restaurant. Breakfast incl good assortment with hot food (ham and egg patties plus waffles), but only 4 tables in bkfst room. Room was nicely decorated and clean. Usual duvet on bed, but this hotel (as is the case for most Country Inn's) also provides a thin blanket (in pack above coat rack) in case the duvet is too suffocating.
My only concern was that the A/C had a very large 'deadband' - for non-engineers, this means that it overcools before turning off (e.g., down to 68 deg if set on 70) and then doesn't turn on again until well above the setting (e.g., 72 deg). I had to turn dial back quite a bit to get it to shut off, and then when room became stuffy 5-10 minutes later, turned dial all the way up and it still didn't come on! To make matters worse, fan does not stay on when A/C cycles (turns off), although this is unfortunately becoming more common among the new A/C's. Because of these issues, I would think twice about booking here in warm weather.
Pricing, however, is somewhat lower for this level of quality than is the case for other hotels in area (check GrandStay for low rates when they are lightly booked).

Our stay at this hotel was excellent. The staff is outstanding. Our questions were answered. We were greeted in the morning by the front desk staff. The breakfast attendant was friendly and kept the buffet well stocked. The housekeeping staff was friendly. I cannot remember the last time I stayed at hotel where everyone was so friendly and helpful. The employees must really love their jobs because it shows in the fantastic customer service.

The room was clean and the beds are comfortable. I categorize the mattresses as being a plush firm. The room was not noisy. I love the fact the bathroom fan was on a separate switch from the light. I wish more hotels would do that. Nothing is more annoying than hearing the fan in the middle of the night because someone got up to use the facilities.

There were plenty of options on the breakfast buffet and I had the best bowl of oatmeal (yes, I like oatmeal) that I have had in a long time. There was also yogurt and the usual waffles, toast, eggs, sausage and cereal. The coffee was fabulous. And I appreciate the Country Inn and Suites reducing waste by using actual plates and silverware.

The noon checkout time was perfect for our schedule.

The work out room is hidden in a corner behind the guest laundry. Not the best location but then I did not have time to work out during this trip.

The hotel is located near plenty of restaurants so you do not have to drive far to grab a bite to eat.
Not far away from the U of Eau Claire.(We told them we were here for a college activity and got a discount)

We will definitely be staying here again.

Have stayed here before so there were no suprises with the room or service. The 1 Queen Room is nice but it not very big, just enough room for the bed and desk and that is it. Very quiet room did not hear anyone in the hall and no highway noise at all. Breakfast is very nice with some hot foods but there needs to be more than 3 tables to eat at. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that it can be difficult to get in and out of the hotel at times due to the traffic from Target and Menards when they are open. But there is a driveway in the back that is easier to get out of.

I have been staying at this Country Inn once a year for about 4 years now for an annual family reunion we have near Eau Claire, WI. The staff in always nice, rooms clean, and the continental breakfast has always been great in my opinion, with a decent variety of food. Sure you could find a cheaper hotel in the area, but for the consistant and reliable good experience we've had here, I'll continue coming back for sure.

Room Tip: 2 bedroom suites were great for family trips

As always, the Country Inn & Suites didn't disappoint. We stayed there with family and teammates for a swim meet being held not too far from the hotel. The staff had breakfast prepared early as swimmers must be out the door by 6:30 AM! The staff was very friendly and rooms very nice. It is located right next to a Super Target, which made it nice to run over and buy snacks for our always hungry swimmers! Not too far from a movie theater (our high school members wanted to catch a movie). We like Country Inn & Suites because their rooms always have queen sized beds.

Only complaint, there was a baseball team staying there as well (believe it or not, from our home town). Baseball players don't have to get up early in the morning and these little boys ran up and down the hall most of the night! Not the staff's fault, the parents were having too much fun not supervising!
