I stay in plenty of hotels and this one is right up there! Nice decor, clean, a nice morning breakfast to get you going. But what sets it above the rest are the amazing staff! I had a problem with my reservation and they cheerfully helped me. The maid even left a cheerful note thanking me for staying! We came for a funeral so we were not in the best frame of mind, but the employees at GrandStay were so cheerful, so nice, and so helpful we just felt loved! Thanks so much! We will be back!

The facility is Clean and well kept, large Flat screens in the bedroom and living room, in the 1 bedroom suites. They seem to be freshening up the rooms with paint, etc. The beds are very comfortable, kitchenettes are clean and well kept. Housekeeping leaves nice notes for you each time they make up the room. Ample room to work, eat, etc. Toilets are a little small for my large rump. Overall the Grandstay is a great place to stay for one night or for extended periods. The location is great, you can walk to Kohl's and its a short drive to the Mall, Target, Wal-Mart and Menards. Everything is within a half mile, plenty of resturants to chose from such as Texas Roadhouse, Olive Garden and plent of local eateries. Mcdonalds and Fazzoli's can be walked, and there is a Mexican Resturant across the parking lot, along with a hair saloon. The parking does sometimes get a little tight. The breakfast in the morning is great, plenty to eat and its all great quality. The waffles are the best.

The staff are the nicest people you ever meet. They are all friendly and very hard working. They go out of their way to help you. In the dead of winter, they keep the drive clean and all entry ways shoveled and clear. I have even seen the night front desk person mopping the foyers, etc. If you are going to stay for more than 10 days, get into their rewards program. For every 10 nights you get a $40 reward. Don't wait to ask, the cards are right at the front desk, grab one and have them fill it out when you check out.

After staying here, I would stay no other place, clean, great staff, great food, everything is great.

They do have a small business area with a computer, desk, printer etc. There is free Wi-Fi and a hardwire connection in all the rooms, the connection works great and is fast, periodically it gets a little slow but overall great to surf or connect to your work VPN, there is a nice pool area. The work-out facility only has a Treadmill, bike, and an Elliptical, but they will give you a pass to Highland Fitness that has a ton of workout equipment. There is a few locations for Highland, but each are a 10-15 minute drive. If you want a serious workout, its worth the drive, if you just want to slop around on a treadmill or bike, do it at the Grandstay and save your gas.

You can't go wrong here at the Granstay. Book your trip now they are filling up fast for the summer travelers.

Room Tip: All the rooms are fairly quite, even those on the first floor. The rooms on the third floor in the front of the building have the eve lights shine in the bedrooms in a few rooms. You just have to close the curtain.

Whenever I travel to the Eau Claire area, I make plans to stay at this Grand Stay. The Front Desk staff has remained the same for nearly 4 years. The rooms are ultra clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast is much better than most. I would highly recommend this property for business travelers.

I would highly recommend this hotel. We ended up being upgraded to the executive suite and the room was amazing! It was a perfect place to stay for our annual ladies weekend. It was very spacious! There was six girls who stayed in the room and it was more than enough room for all of us, not cramped at all. The hotel was extremely clean and the staff was very helpful too. Thank you.

This is our place to go after spending too many winter season days cooped up in Northern Wisconsin, dealing with horrible travel conditions, et al. The facility is always well-kept, the staff friendly and very professional and the rooms are homey and spacious. And, of course, there are the waffles for breakfast! This past stay (17 Mar 2012) I did find that the treadmill was inoperable in the fitness center; my thought: with the amount of money this franchise makes on any given weekend, just go out and purchase a replacement treadmill instead of placing a sigh on the equipment, plus offering a pass to some off property fitness center. That said: we will continue to return to this facility...

Room Tip: Two queen suite is roomier.
