“Great time for the whole family!”
Reviewed 29 July 2014

We visited Poco Loco Animal Farm in July and had the best time! We have children between the ages of 20-2 and they ALL had a great time! We were able to feed so many animals for a minimal fee and didn't get trampled by any like you would at most petting zoos. There were games to play for older kids and adults and a little play house, general store and small farm to play with for younger kids. We all had fun!

“A gem”
Reviewed 8 June 2014 via mobile

What Ann amazing place this is! We took our 3 year old and 7 month old. The owner was great. He came out and explained things and brought out a miniature horse for the kids to pet. There are little kids sized buildings and so many fun things for kids to do. We would go back in a heartbeat. Thanks for the great experience.

“Kids loved it”
Reviewed 2 January 2014

My 6 year old twins had a wonderful time when we visited in July. Just now, my daughter chose to write about her visit for a school assignment and both were asking me when we can go back. It is a must see for our trip next summer.

“What a heartwarming place...”
Reviewed 8 August 2013

We visited today with 5 adults and a 2 1/2year old and it was such a nice day. Admission was reasonable. There is a very nice area to picnic or just relax with kid-size buildings, riding toys and lot of games for all ages. What I really liked was the fact that it isn't just a petting zoo there. There weren't any baby animals there the day we went, but there were a lot of very gentle goats, donkeys, horses & sheep enjoying being fed carrots and grain and loving the attention. This farm is run by a couple who give farm animals homes for life. They are obviously very well cared for. My only negative comment was the amount of grain for purchase. You get a pound of carrots, but only one cup of grain for so many goats. I would have liked to have purchased more grain separately. It's a great place to visit.

Thank you for posting your wonderful feedback regarding your visit. I would just like to respond to your comment regarding the portion of grain that is offered in our feed pails. Each feed pail comes with a cup of grain and a pound of carrots sticks for $2.50.

Please know that we often have over 100 visitors per day that come to Plum Loco during our busy season. If we were to provide large portions of grain to each visitor, our animals would quickly become obese and develop health problems such as bloat (tummy aches) which can become very serious in the case of goats and sheep.

While we certainly want our visitors to enjoy interacting with and feeding our animals, we also provide a lifelong permanent home for our animals. As such, the health and well being of our animal family is a priority,.

Please know that all our visitors are always welcome to purchase refills of their feed pails - where additional grain is offered for 50 cents a scoop - but quantities are closely monitored. Additional carrot sticks can also be purchased for $2.00 per pound in unlimited quantities as they are healthy for the animals, low in calories and safe for children to easily feed.

Many thanks -

Linda
