Bay Point Inn was the first place my husband & I looked into staying at in Egg Harbor. Didn't need to go any further. A beautiful condo with living area, kitchen, bath (with jacuzzi) & bedroom. They even got a shower chair to make it easier for me. The whole unit was very English looking to us. It was a little more than we usually spend, but we fell in love with it. We had a beautiful view of Green Bay & gorgeous sunsets. There is a beautiful pool, although we never got to use it because it was a little too chilly out for us. We were there from May 31st to June 3rd. This year there were so many mosquitoes that we never had a chance to use our beautiful little private patio or be out much at night anywhere in Door County.
The staff and owners were so friendly and very obliging. Miles was especially helpful. We had a wonderful breakfast everyday served in their little dining room. The whole inn doesn't have many units which made it cozy and quiet, and that's why their dining room only had about 4 or 5 tables. Delicious fresh egg casserole, sausages, waffles, cereal, fresh fruit, coffee, juice, milk and a nice view out the front and back windows.
Have to add that we had a king size bed that was so VERY comfortable. We both slept wonderfully.
We both felt so very comfortable at Bay Point Inn and highly recommend it to especially couples. I actually don't know how many bedrooms their other units have. Thank you Bay Point Inn for a great time. We wish we could have stayed longer, and will be back.

We stay at Bay Point Inn every year for our anniversary. It is our absolute favorite place to stay in Door County. It is a small resort and you really get the special treatment. The villas are very nicely decorated and have comfortable amenities such as down pillows and comforters. They have a lovely breakfast in the AM with homeade breakfast items, coffees and juices.
It is a very quiet resort. It is on the Lake so from any room you can enjoy sunrises and sunsets. You can really tell Myles the innkeeper loves what he does by the little touches :-) The employees are always ready to help as well!
If you are looking for excellence and a romantic place to stay this is definitely your place!

Room Tip: All of the rooms are beautiful!

Most comfortable bed I've slept in besides my own. Staff was extremely pleasant. Calming view. Amazing. Nice suite with huge tub. Will definitely stay there again. Did not hear any noise. Also the breakfast was great. A gem in Door County!

Room Tip: Upstairs suites provide better view

Compact suites were very clean and well-appointed. The big feature of this 10 room "B&B" is the outstanding view, while being on edge of small town at one end of the "core strip" of the peninsula's villages. Room had well-equipped kitchenette and nice bathroom with large spa tub. The only issue is that downstairs rooms hear footsteps and spa tub noise in units above. Very nice staff.

Room Tip: Downstairs has more spacious patios but upstairs may be quieter. Loved walk-in shower (did not use s...

We just made an impromptu visit to Egg Harbor and stayed here. Believe we were the only ones on the property which was marvelous. The condo had everything we needed- too bad we weren't staying longer to take advantage of the full kitchen. We were cozy and so impressed by the vista of the Bay at sunset and the next morning. We felt special, having breakfast ready for us in the parlor, and not having to worry about the check out time. The management is excellent!!

We recently stayed at the Bay Point Inn at the end of September. This is the second time we have visited this property and enjoyed our stay once again. I'm not sure how we missed this Inn in our many years of traveling to Door County. I guess we were always too busy to get to Fish Creek and stay at the White Gull Inn, BIG MISTAKE!!! After a very bad experience with the owner of the White Gull Inn we were looking for alternative lodging. This fits the bill and has so much more to offer.

Both trips we have stayed in the same suite on the south end of the property by the pool. It's a one bedroom with King bed and TV in bedroom, large bathroom with separate shower and whirlpool tub. The living area is cozy with gas fireplace, nice TV, table and chairs that we used for playing games while over looking the waters of Green Bay. We had first rate seats every night for the most beautiful sunsets that were equal or more lovely to anything we've seen in Key West or Hawaii. There is a deck with lounge chairs and small table that can be enjoyed while viewing the sunset and having a happy hour. If the weather is too cool, you have a great view from your suite. The kitchenette is very lovely, large refrigerator with ice maker, microwave, stove top, dishwasher and basic kitchen supplies/utensils. There is access to gas grill by the pool if you wanted to cook out. Both our trips were in the fall and we dined out for our meals. Breakfast is included in the rate of your room. The breakfast has choice of juices, coffee, milk or tea. Warm egg dish which were muffin tin quiches. The mini quiche were offered in both meat and vegetarian options. There was also Belgian waffles, fresh fruit, several pastries and bread choices. The main lobby has a cooler with a serve yourself/honor option of purchasing soda, wine or cheeses.

The property is situated right on Highway 42, however you are unaware of the busy road in the front of the property. Ample off street parking, very easy to get to and easy access to anything in the Door. The water view/location cannot be beat to enjoy the serenity of the Bay. We were lucky enough to see Bald Eagles fly over the bay.

The room is tastefully decorated, well equipped, very comfortable furniture/bed, nice linens and the bathroom is stocked with Gilchrist and Soames toiletries. The shower had large dispensers of cleansing gel, shampoo and conditioner. This was a very nice touch.

The pool was still open last year during our September visit. It was well kept, lovely landscaping, private and very enjoyable. This year it had already been closed for the season. As previously mentioned the pool area has at least one gas grill and patio tables and chairs as well as adequate chaise lounge chairs.

The owner Miles was visible at the property and very hospitable. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. The buildings and grounds are well maintained and our suite was very clean. I can't say enough about this property and will return again next year. Good value for the money with all that you get and the location.

We stayed here after another hotel gave away our reservation. We were tired and exasperated and just wanted to rest. The Asian people at the front desk did not convey the price clearly. She first started at $199 then said oh yes, it the weekend so that $249 then when the bill finally came it was slightly over $300. One thing tried and true about Door County is that they really need to make their money before the snow flies. We had no choice because everything was booked for an in town event that Saturday. If we hit the lottery I will probably go back. DAMN good breakfast the next morning was included, but I could have had alot of food for $300 in Vegas.

Room Tip: Get a price in writing before you move away from the front desk.

Hi there,

Sorry for our receptionist's initial confusion on the rates. You are correct, with 10 rooms and a short season, we do have to make our money before the snow flies (though we are open in the winter!). We appreciate you staying with us, and we're glad you loved the breakfast - we work hard at it.

Keep an eye on our off-season specials - we do offer some great rates and you can take full advantage of our service and find out why so many find our rates well worth it.

We hope we see you again sometime, and thanks for posting your thoughts!

Best,
Myles Dannhausen
