This was the second stay I've had at the Manor House, Karen and John are such gracious hosts and energetic cooks! Got to explore the house a little more this weekend (girl's night out/birthday event). The pool was so warm and you could do laps to the music of your choice playing in the background (soothing). Both rooms I've stayed in have had plenty of space and 4 of my party stayed in the suite which was very large and comfortable. I could go on and on...please try it if you're anywhere in the area - you WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! Breakfast - delicious, and location great for shopping and outdoor pursuits yet set off from any large cities. Worth every penny!!

Room Tip: All of the rooms are comfortable!

We enjoyed a relaxing, late fall getaway to Ye Olde Manor House. It was conveniently close to the hiking trails of the Southern Kettle Moraine State Forest, and was an enjoyable place to return to after being out all day. Karen and John provided a warm welcome, and the Rubye Room was comfortable and well appointed. Our breakfasts were delicious and varied. And the pool was a treat -- warm and inviting. Recommended!

A friend booked Ye Olde Manor House B and B for our girls' weekend in Lake Geneva. What a pleasant surprise! There are so many rooms, not just for sleeping (great mattresses), but for many activities. After a day of shopping and dining at Lake Geneva we were happy to find a place this comfortable to put our feet up and relax. I am very particular about cleanliness and can say, this home is spotless. You can wander the rooms and see something new with each pass through. Karen and John have collected many unique furniture and art pieces. Karen was truly a welcoming host. The girls and I found a nice collection of DVD's and comfortable seating so that two could fall asleep (ahem, you know who you are) while the other enjoyed a fun movie! But, hey, when it is your weekend away, you should be able to do what you feel like doing, right? Breakfast was made to order and very tasty. Our hosts think it is fun to experiment with food and their success shows. The breakfast service made us all feel like they were truly happy to have us there. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it.

Room Tip: Ask your hosts and they will help you with this. What was recommended to us was perfect.

A gracious welcome from the hosts John and Karen greeted us and from then on the beautifully appointed home seemed to be our own during the 4 night stay. We were a wedding party with old friends occupying all the rooms, and Ye Olde Manor House is perfect for such gatherings. Each room is uniquely furnished, comfortable and immaculate with personal touches, latest magazines, terrycloth bathrobe, and bathroom amenities. Juices, soft drinks and wine available, extra towels etc.--clearly great attention is given to making guests comfortable. The large garden and yard as well as various spots around the house and patios offer numerous private spaces for conversation. The pool, long enough to actually swim, was a surprise and welcome place to hang out and exercise. Our hosts responded to every need, including endless coffee as we dallied over freshly prepared, copious breakfasts, delicious choices each morning. Altogether an incredibly enjoyable stay and introduction to a charming, hospitable couple. (One suggestion from a coffee-holic: a small coffee maker in the kitchen for guests to make coffee during the day.)

John and Karen were excellent hosts, even accommodating our kids after a last minute change of plans. The pool was awesome, my 12 and 13 year olds were in heaven, a pool all to themselves. Breakfast was ample and excellent. Made to order. Very clean room, good water pressure in shower, excellent amenities. Can't wait to be in town for Jimmy buffet next year!

Room Tip: Lake view room has a nice balcony, a great place for a cup of coffee, or glass of wine.
