We tried this little café and were pleased with the breakfast and the view of the lake. There are area "fresh" eggs for the omelets and the choices were many. The staff very friendly and informative of the menu. We be back for more...........Ephraim is also a nice town to walk around and view the sights.

We had short ribs, and duck. No liquor as Ephrim is quite dry, so we brought our own wine. Service was good, and chef came out to talk. A nice meal.

We had a memorable fine dining experience here over the Memorial Day weekend. The service was great and the people were very nice. Just remember this is a DRY town, so bring your own bottle if you need it. I love the casual atmosphere (no table clothes), a great place to relax and to enjoy the lake view from across the road. We saw the sunset!

The sampler appetizers was big enough for 4 people with 4 crab stuffed shrimps. You can taste the delicate flavors of real crab meat. The braised lamb shank was a little pricey ($29) but excellent. The salmon salad is a great value and the salmon was fresh and cooked perfectly (not dry). The tilapia topped with strawberry/pineapple salsa was pretty good too. I definitely will return to try the duck next time I visit Door County.

I choose the tilapia with pineapple, strawberry, basil salsa and vegetables with a pear gorgonzola salad. They were both very tasty.
If you want a glass of wine bring your own bottle because Ephraim is dry. Staff was so friendly as was the owner. You can dine inside or out so enjoy.
