Decent show and food. It was buffet style after watching earl the master boiler do his stuff. They deboned our fish which was nice. Btw, this town doesn't serve beer/alcohol.

This was my first fish boil. The fish was delicious, very fresh. It was entertaining to watch the meal being prepared behind the restaurant. The whole meal was delicious. Service was very good. Be sure to make reservations.

This is a "must go place", they have are known for having the best fish boil of the peninsula.
Everyone gathers around the boiling pot in the backyard while the Boil Master explains the cooking process and tells stories along with bad jokes.
Once the cooking time is reached, he pours kerosene on the fire to raise the temperature rapidly, causing the overboil.
The meal is then served inside or outside and the waiters help with the deboning.
Nice location in front of the lake where one can observe the sunset.
All fish is fresh and have never been frozen, unlike some other places, causing some limitation in the servings if the fisherman don't catch enough fish that morning. Be sure to reserve in advance.

The fun of this restaurant is watching Earl, the long time boil master, prepare the fish, potatoes and onions that you are going to have for dinner. The menu doesn't sound very appetizing, but the whitefish is just excellent and so tender. I recommend the tables inside for a good view without wind or insects. Be sure to make a reservation as they fill quickly.

Quaint place for a fish boil. Need to make a reservation so you'll be sure to get a table. You can gather around Earl outside at an appointed time where he shows and tells you how boils all started and how it's done. Nice buffet dinner consisting of the fish, pearl onions, and little red potatoes you can drizzle melted butter over, several kinds of Nordic breads, and cherry pie for dessert. When up on the bay, you have to try it at least once.
