This bakery has the best bagels I have ever eaten. Also, their pecan rolls, muffins, buns, and breads are delicious.

Stopped for coffee and a pastry. The bread was OK, but nothing out of the ordinary, so we didn't buy any. Service was quick, pleasant. Just not above average.

Small bakery that uses only high quality ingredients (only butter or canola oil--no hydrogenated shortening). Their pecan rolls are among the best! Their cookies taste as good or better than homemade. The bread is fresh and tasty. Selection is limited due to their small size, but don't let that dissuade you! Everything is fresh, and the staff are friendly and helpful. They also have a small lunch menu, but we weren't there at lunch time.

This bakery does not have a lot of selection, so don't go there expecting dozens of pastery choices. It has a limited, high quality focus. What it does make, it knocks completely out of the park. Mostly it focuses on breads (a variety here), scones, cookies, and it's specialty--pecan roles. Because the goods are made daily with real everything, the flavors and textures are way amazing. The owner/baker is a young woman who is intense about what she's doing, a kind of religious conviction for baking. The bakery has been around a few years. It's had a real struggle because small towns are often not used to this kind of food quality with premium prices. Why pay $1.95 for one pecan role when you can get a package of six factory made roles at the local grocery for about the same price? So, if you're passing through (or if you live there), stop and buy a real baking experience, and support a real baker. The coffee is great, too.
