We called and signed up for a sunset boat tour 2 days in advance. They called back and confirmed our date and reservation. They also said that they needed 2 more participants to make the boat tour a go (and profitable. Which I totally get)
They said that if they cancelled it they would call me and confirmed my number.
We came 30 minutes early, like they said. And saw several other people looking and waiting for them to open. Many more than 4, which they said they needed 6 people total to make it go and we had 2 adults in our party.
The well marked tour sign in spot read closed and was empty. It stayed that way until we left at 7:15, 15 minutes after scheduled departure and 45 minutes after we were asked to be there. No phone call. No note left.
I called and left a message stating the situation and my disappointment. I did receive a call the next day from them. But they chose to not address the problem from the night before and invited us to join them on the cruise that night. Right. Like I was going to waste another evening on a poorly run enterprise and risk my son being disappointed yet again on the possibility of his first boat ride. No thank you. We are trying the cruise company out of Sister Bay.
