Wow. This did is good. It's the only thing we had as we only came for dessert but it was worth it. It also comes with salted carmel ice cream which of course we had to buy a pint of afterwards. So so good.

If you want to rest and have a good sandwich at lunchtime this is sure a great place to do this. They have a nice outside patio that is comfortable and relaxing. We have eaten here twice at lunch time and both times were not disappointed.

Nice Place But My Experience Was Not So Good Overcooked Burgers, Fries Were Under a Heat Lamp For An Hour, Soggy Cold And Limp, Burgers Were Also Not Hot, Scallops Had Nice Flavor But Also Overcooked, Veggie Cabob Also Limp And Cold, Didn't Pay To Tell Waiter Cause Took Too Long To Get Back. But The Whitefish Chowder Was Excellent, I Would Go Back And Try Again But Everything Would Have To Be Perfect To Get Me A Third Time.

We are sorry to hear about the meal you experienced at our restaurant. From your description, the preparation of your food was not up to our standards. We will be following up with our cooks regarding your comments. We appreciate that you will consider visiting our restaurant again as we feel that your experience was not a typical Cookery dining experience. And, we are happy to hear you enjoyed the whitefish chowder! That is definitely a customer favorite.

This was our second time to this restaurant. We arrived on a weekday evening but they were still very busy. We had about a 20 minute wait which was fine as there was space at the bar. They have an interesting menu and great kids menu. We sat outside on the ground floor which was a very nice spot. My wife was rather disappointed with her pasta dish as it was pasta with some vegetables for $15 and did not seem like much of a dish for that. I had a gouda stuffed smoked pork chop with cabbage that was excellent. The kids menu had good portions with fruit, whole wheat pasta, and offered a rare healthy kid option. Despite one disappointment, the rest of us liked our meals and would go back. Very nice atmosphere inside and out.

If you are in Door County to unwind, do yourself a favor and stop at the Cookery. Outdoor dining is available on the first or second floor. Happy hour means reasonably priced small plates and beverages. Enjoy the water view and the ebb and flow of visitors to this quaint town. Ambiance, view, and quality food do not disappoint. We make a stop every time we visit Fish Creek.
