On Lake Koshgonong, off HWY 106 between Town of Busseyville and Fort Atkinson. We stopped in for Friday Night Fish-fry and I want to stop back in the summer for a beer and burger. There is outdoor seating w/ a lake and woodsy view. The inside is larger than it looks from the outside and much cooler. This was a clean back-woods-cabin feel with 2 separate dining areas - fireplace in the corner, high-top tables on-top of whiskey barrels, bar area - other side has lower tables with another bar area. Pick up a menu from the bar - seat yourself - order at the bar and then they bring the food to you when it's ready. They have a wide variety of offerings - appetizers to full dinners. I liked the kick-back feel in a very clean and comfortable environment - friendly staff but don't expect full table service. We both ordered the beer battered 4oz cod fish - 2 pc - that included a dinner roll, applesauce, sweeter/creamy coleslaw, and a choice of potato - fries, waffle fries, baked, or potato pancakes for $8.95 each - bottle of beer for $3. The fish was very good and hot - but it sure looked like it was cooked up right out of the box - it didn't look like they battered it and a dinner roll that also looked like it came out of a package. The meal was okay and the price was average - go for the experience. It's a cool looking place that can make it feel warm and inviting in the winter and looks like it'd be cool and fun in the summer. The bar is a lower bar for comfortable seating around it - to dine or have a beverage; the high tables are for 4 to 6; the tables in the other room could accommodate up to 8.
