We went on a Saturday afternoon and there was a band there. The place was not overcrowded and we sat at a picnic table. Our waitress moved fast but I don't think there were enough workers, we had to go get our own beers most of the time, but that was easy as there were no lines at the bar.
I had the pig wings and my husband had the chicken wings. Mine were nasty cooked too much. Cheese curds had most of cheese missing. Steak sandwich was small thin and cooked well (why ask how to cook it if it doesn't matter). Food took forever to get.
We will go back for drinks but we wont go back for food! Very cute place

When I heard about this place… located on the lake with a nice beach, outdoor seating and "tiki" bars... I was really anxious to check it out. We went on a Wednesday night, which is their "half-price pizza" night. When the 4 of us arrived, we were greeted quickly by our server. She was really nice, funny, and attentive. She brought our first round of drinks and took our order: three small pizzas and a burger with cheese curds. We were seated at a round high-top, but our server came back and pointed to a larger high-top that had just opened up. Once we moved to the second table, everything changed. We never saw our server again. We had to flag someone down to get another round of drinks. Seriously, 45 minutes later we were still waiting for our food. The restaurant was NOT busy. We flagged someone down a second time to ask when our food might be ready, and then waited another 10 minutes. When our food finally arrived, there were no cheese curds. The new server told us that "she" (original server) never put the order in. (We saw her write it down - the kitchen screwed up the order and then threw her under the bus.) After the meal, we AGAIN had to flag someone down for to-go boxes. Three of us each had pizza left over, but she only brought us one box?? I left a 15% tip, which was extremely generous for the service we received. The waiting time was unacceptable, and the service was even worse. There is absolutely no reason to go back, or recommend this restaurant to anyone else.

Went on Memorial day, this place has a good reputation for pizza. When we arrived, we found that the live music often provided on Sundays is very popular. A large parking lot and large reserve lot were filled, and it was a hike to get back. We found the place had been expanded since our last visit years ago, with a large attached Tiki Bar, and a smaller separate Tiki bar further away on the grounds, and an outdoor stage for live bands. Because of the obvious large crowds, we went inside to see if we could even get food, and got a menu. Foregoing a pizza, we ordered a hand-pattyed one pound cheeseburger, for about $9.00, added fries for $1, and a couple of tap beers. Service friendly, food came promptly considering the size, was cooked well, (we were not asked how we wanted it prepared} but was juicy, & tasty. We asked for a knife and extra cardboard basket, quickly brought, and sat at one of many picnic tables outside. The music, atmosphere, and food provided a fun late-afternoon experience. We plan to return, perhaps for a fish fry or another event.
