We have given this place two chances and won't be going for #3. Both times the service on weekend evenings was very slow. The bartenders are more concerned with talking to their young friends at the bar than serving drinks and making money. Drink prices are not cheap for what you get.
The food service was worse. The last time we were there we waited 35 minutes for food ordered after 9:00PM with few other orders from other customers. One order came out cold. The management was notified and did nothing but offer to take 50% off one order, even though it was not edible.
Skip this place and go down the street for better service and food.

Our family of two kids (9 & 3) and two adults went to the Barley Pop Pub after receiving a $20 gift card from a local fundraiser. We went during the fourth quarter of a Packers game which may have been a mistake. With one woman who appeared to be the bartender and waitress, we had to wait a while to order and then receive our drinks. Thankfully, a large well equipped game room (kids never asked for a quarter!) kept the kids busy. We ordered the appetizer sampler, which was good, but not worth $12.99. The kids meals were well priced at $4.95 which included a drink and choices of applesauce, fresh raw veggies, or tater tots. The adults each ordered a burger and tater tots. The portions were huge and we asked for a box for the remainder of the food. Once the game was over, service was okay; nothing stellar.

They have a big restaurant side, but this is still a bar first. They have a full menu with bar food and fast casual style menu. New ownership took over about two years ago and really cleaned the place up quite a bit, which was long overdo. Prices are very reasonable and they often bring in small events karaokee or live music which can make for a fun evening out. I've been here several times with my wife and/or friends. The atmosphere isn't really mine so I don't happen in here as often as I did in my younger years.
