Desperate times call for desperate measures when you are trying to attend a Packer game in Green Bay. We stayed here this past weekend because when there are only a few options, you don't even want to take the time to look at what you're getting into. The fact that we paid MORE than I pay to stay in a downtown Chicago hotel makes me feel a little sick. The good: You are a short taxi ride away from Lambeau. You have a place to sleep after the game. There was a fridge and microwave (tailgate priorities...). The bad: The person working there was incredibly rude. Two people going to their room while we were checking in asked us if we brought anything to check for bed bugs. The pillows were as flat as a piece of cardboard - pretty much useless. The room was dirty - the kind of dirty where you're pretty much beyond ever getting it clean (I closed my eyes every time I went in the bathroom), there are stains on the carpet. At exactly checkout time the Manager came knocking on our door to kick us out, and was not friendly about it.
So again, if its your only option - it will do. But I would pay pretty much anything more to not have to stay here again.
