Spent the day there with a group of kids... lots of neat displays! And, many opportunities to interact with something for the younger children. Fascinating!! The gift shop is interesting, too!

Could have spent more than the day there... so much to read.

We've visited this museum off and on for over 30 years when we visit Green Bay from northern Michigan. Their permanent exhibit about the history of the area is truly remarkable and can be enjoyed by folks of all ages, especially children. They also have rotating exhibits that are always interesting: sometimes art, sometimes history. Their gift shop always has neat and different items for sale.

A small but well organized museum on the Fox River banks in downtown Green Bay. The Neville museum takes the visitor on a natural, geographical and human history of the Green Bay area from ice age to present day. The museum will soon (April 5th, 2014) host The Green Bay Packers temporary Hall of Fame (the permanent HOF is being rebuilt at Lambeau Field) A nice little exhibit on the Great Lakes shipping industry fills out the museums exhibit area.

We stopped at the Neville Public Museum because of the video game exhibit. It was fun for all of us to play retro games and compete for a high score. We enjoyed walking through the other exhibits. It was a nice afternoon. We would visit again!

I will always remember the explanation I overheard about all the cow tails it took to create the woolly mammoth; you'll just have to visit to find out more. This is an excellent small museum. The map of how the Green Bay connects to the Mississippi really helped to realize the growth of commerce in early Wisconsin history.
