A group of 5 couples, (seniors all) stayed there last August. When trying to book for this year we were told that they were changing their policy to reflect a $50.00 per room, per night upcharge plus a 45 day cancellation policy. Nothing of this was on the website - apparently they don't want to fill the Inn. If you are looking for a group getaway, stay away from Miller's Daughter, you're not welcome there!!! Pat G.

Thank you Kris for a wonderful stay at your B&B. We stayed during the weekend before Christmas. After driving from Minneapolis, we arrived late at night. Right from stepping thru the front door we felt welcomed.

The house has it's old soul but hidden are many modern enhancements. The floors are heated yet retained the old wood. The appliances are new but the wood trim is the quality found from a time passed by. There are nice little touches like extra outlets to charge our phones, cameras etc. The house has the perfect blend of antiques and modern art. Make sure to read the scrapbook about the house's history. There, homework found in the rafters will boggle you mind. There is also some pretty comedic stuff found, but I won't give that away.

Initially I had booked the tower room, but we liked that the Viola room had a larger shower. So we stayed there instead. Our room had a very comfortable queen bed with high quality sheets/bedding. There's a Tv and small CD player atop the fireplace. We didn't use the TV so I can't tell you it's quality. Also free Wi-FI is available.

After a restful sleep we awoke to blue skies and the trees laced with snow. We were serve a fantastic breakfast of egg quiche, cranberry bread, baked apple, coffee and OJ. See the picture, yummmm!!

We headed off to our adventures of snowshoeing at the Green Lake Conference Center and the wild life preserve area outside of town. The only tracks beside ours were deer, rabbit and I believe beaver.

We used the rooms hot tub to warm up. It filled up quickly and didn't run out of hot water. On the second morning, the downstairs was an aromatic masterpiece. My bride said it smelled like the home cooking, when she returned home from college. We were served French Toast stuffed with baked apples, and sausage. The picture doesn't do it justice! After that we headed up to Oshkosh to visit the EAA Aviation Museum. Both of us are pilots and it's a must see.

Our final morning we were served a egg cheese soufflé with a cranberry scone and bacon. The scone was out of this world. Usually they're dry and brick like. (Brick like, yes that's an official culinary term... Lol). No, not this scone. She was melt in your mouth buttery soft. The flavor of cranberry and almonds were a perfect blend.

Kris was always accessible and very helpful. From extra pillows to highlighting dining ideas and places to visit, she was a cordial host.

We had a very romantic weekend. Thank you for new memories!

My wife and I stayed at Miller's Daughter on our wedding night this last October, and had a delightful time visiting with Kris (the Inn Keeper) and learning the history of the Inn and her passion for her Bed and Breakfast. We couldn't have picked a more romantic Inn to help us celebrate our wedding night! The homemade french toast for breakfast was splendid and the hospitality top notch. We especially enjoyed the comfort of the room (Victoria's Tower room) and the large jacuzzi tub in the tower. The historical architecture of the building (the old parsonage home of First Congregational Church) and the beautiful garden and autumn decorated porch made for a beautiful setting to spend our first married days together. Thank you Kris and The Miller's Daughter Bed and Breakfast.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Victoria's Tower Room, which was spacious, wonderfully decorated in modern deco...

My husband and I had a wonderful time at the Miller's Daughter. The room was so cozy and the whirlpool was so relaxing at the end of the day of fishing in the cold weather. Breakfast was delicious and the other guests were so nice to chat with. We will certainly be back!

My wife and I, frequent guests in B & B's across the country, lucked into booking our
two day stay at Miller's Daughter by faith in Trip Advisor. We could not be more pleased with
the five room Victorian Inn located 3 hours from Chicago, in Green Lake Wisconsin.

Kris and Larry Herrell painstaking moved this turn of the century structure three blocks to its
current location on North St. in Green Lake. They spent three years completely re building
the interior with fittings and antiques gathered from around Wisconsin. An elaborate Maple
carved staircase came from an old Milwaukee residence. The unique 5 guest rooms are
artistically decorated with the finest of beddings and period piece furniture. Each room is named after one of her sisters. We found the Johhana's room to be our favorite with lovely window views, a reclining couch, and very modern bathroom.

The main parlor has a carved mantle piece, numerous antiques and a fantastic album about the move of the house to the current location, very close to town and to Rt 43.

The Breakfast part of the B & B was excellent both mornings. Served in a Sun Room, we
enjoyed converation with our hosts while being served fresh fruit, juice, country bacon and
the best French toast I have ever tasted.

Kris was most helpful in recommending dinner plans both in Green Lake and in nearby Ripon.
Our trip was centered around two days of golf at the famous Lawsonia Golf Club. Both the
Links and Woodlands Courses were unique and challenging, with Fall colors all around us on two perfect days of sunny weather in late September.Lawsonia is only
five minutes drive from the Miller's Daughter.

A marvelous stay with the most friendly of innkeepers, we felt fortunate, an promised
ourselves a return visit.

Room Tip: Joahnna's Room is a sunny room with windows, modern bath, and at the top of the antique stairca...

The Miller's Daughter was the perfect choice for enjoying a relaxing fall getaway weekend. Our room (Lily's) was so beautifully decorated. I fell in love with it the moment I saw it. I very much enjoyed the updated decor and the hand painted walls were just amazing. Staying here added so much to our trip. Kris was very knowledgeable and so helpful. She was able to offer many suggestions on things to do and were to go. All the extras were such a nice touch and made us feel so welcomed. I felt like it was a perfect place to stay for a quiet relaxing weekend.

My girlfriend decided to surprise me with an early Christmas present with a weekend in Green Lake and a stay at The Miller's Daughter. I had stayed at B&B's before, but this, by far, was the best one I've ever stayed at. The room was wonderful. Not the old Victorian flowery clutter that you find in some B&B's. This room was more modern, very clean and had ample space. There was a nice side alcove for luggage. The separate room for the whirlpool was a nice touch. Staying on the first floor wasn't too bad either. The noise from the upstairs guests was minimal. The food was simple, but good. Kris did a wonderful job of making us feel welcomed and giving us ideas for things to do in the area. Would have never figured that once you got past the antique stores in Princeton that the downtown had some very nice shops that you'd expect to find in a larger town.

Room Tip: Lilly's Room on the first floor was perfect. No next door neighbors, very private. Just remember...
