We came in from AZ for a wedding (see Nick Wilkes review) and everything he said was spot on. These people could not have been more accommodating and friendly. Having been in the service industry my whole life, I know top notch service when I see it and every employee was courteous, helpful and had a great attitude- good management!! And what a calm relaxing facility with beautiful fully stocked cabins and everything you could need for a week of fun. Didn't want to leave! And the bald eagles...*sigh*...

Room Tip: The Pond House was new with knotty pine throughout, 3 beds, 3 baths and a killer kitchen bar made it...

My brother and sister-in-law held their wedding at Treelands last week and it was a perfect setting for a larger group event. Cabins are close enough to feel "all together," but provide enough space for families to have privacy and independent time. TONS of stuff to do (if you like being outside), including fishing, tubing, water skiing, swimming (beach or pool), playground for kids, pontoon boat rentals, tennis, basketball, horseshoes, etc. On-site restaurant and bar are great. Hayward is only a 15-minute drive for groceries, candy store, lumberjack show, fly shop, etc.

Treelands was super helpful with wedding arrangements for 80+ people, and their assistance with logisitics, rooms, event set-up, etc. was top-notch. They even let the DJ go until midnight! Dance floor right next to the restaurant/bar was very convenient and nobody had to drive home... cabins were a walk away. Parents could put kids to bed and come back. Very convenient.

Most important, the owners are are super nice and helpful. Treelands is a family-run affair, and it shows. We will certainly come back. Thank you!

Room Tip: The Pond House was the nicest cabin we saw.

My family has been staying at Treelands for over 20 years. Every year they reinvest in their resorts making them better and better. Even if world class fishing isn't your thing, there are plenty of other things to enjoy. This family works hard to make sure everyone can enjoy the Chippewa Flowage.

Nice resort with great amenities for a up north property(pool, lake swimming, kayaks etc). We stayed in the motel which was clean and well equipped. Bar has decent food and good drinks . The staff is very friendly an helpful. Always nice to have a boat launch and bait hop on site.

My family has been vacationing in the Hayward area all my life. We have been going to Treeland Resorts for many years. Grandma, Grandpa, Mom, Dad, Kids, Grandkids. We all LOVE it! Every year we look forward to our stay. The cabin accommodations are great. The grounds kept up well. Many activities are provided for both kids and adults. Kayaking, canoeing, tennis, basketball, horseshoe, walking trails, sandy beach, fire pits, swimming pool and more. You can also rent a boat or pontoon. The Lodge provides good food and arcade games for the kids, as well as a friendly staff. All this and we haven't even mentioned the beautiful Chippewa Flowage and its abundance of nature. There is nothing better than the call of the loon, an eagle soaring overhead, a deer coming to the bank of the lake for a cool drink and even the black bear on the shoreline. The fisherman in the family will love the many acres of open water. The sunsets are beautiful! The only thing we worry about is the increasing prices in today's economy. We would absolutely hate it if we could no longer spend our vacation at Treeland.

This is my favorite place in the whole world. The cabins are beautiful (especially #11) and have everything you need. The pool/lodge has great food, drinks and people. Boats available for rental are nice. There are tons of things to do: kayaks, small beach, paddle boats, fire pits, playground, tennis, sand volleyball, games inside the lodge, and I'm probably forgetting something! The family that owns the resort are always extremely friendly and helpful (and fun). My family has been coming here for years and we're going to try to switch weeks (the only down side is that it's HARD to get into a cabin - everyone comes back). I'm heartbroken at the thought of missing a summer at Treelands.

I planned a last minute trip for our family not knowing what to expect from the resort and we could not have been any happier with it. The grounds are gorgeous and our cabin was awesome. As soon as we entered the cabin it was obvious how nice and clean the unit was and our views from the deck were amazing. We rented a boat for the week and fished alot. The weather was gorgeous and we loved being on the lake all day. We also loved spending time on the deck overlooking the beautiful lake. We ate at the lodge twice and it was really good both times.......especially the fish fry...its a must =). We would love to be able to come back with all of our family in the summer......I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing week in a great cabin.
