“Fresh food! Great little bakery”
Reviewed 4 August 2013

The food is very fresh with a small menu that changes daily for breakfast and lunch. We had a salad with just picked lettuce - It's a bit out of our way, but will make a point to stop by again. Suc a fresh lunch alternative than the typical burger and fries local restaurant. They also sell grass fed beef, pork, lamb, fresh farm eggs, fresh made gelato, along with other gift items.

“Sustainable Goodness”
Reviewed 30 June 2013

A birthday treat planned for my mother turned out to be an unique experience. The goat, the lamb and the chicken greeted us from their pens. The farm dog was taking a lazy morning nap.
When we opened the door to visit the café, we were enticed by homemade creations from the Italian gelato to wholesome baked goods. The menu consisted of homemade soups and sandwiches made to order. The use of goat's milk was present from the gelato to a variety of personal toiletries. Then we purchased their granola ,which I enjoyed for the next week. The people were very friendly and willing to share their knowledge about sustainable farming and the cooperative effort of such farms to assist each other. What a marvelous discovery in rural Northern Wisconsin !

“Fresh from the farm!”
Reviewed 20 February 2013

We've been CSA (Community-Supported Agriculture) clients of the Berlage women for several years. Their new endeavor is a free-standing building on the farm where one may purchase their free-range pork, lamb and chicken; greenhouse veggies; offerings from the organic dairy in Springbrook; breads and such baked on-site; various specials and Laura's woolens (hats, scarves, etc.) This winter brought completion of a greenhouse where they raise tilapia, which contribute fertilizer to the veggies. A great place for coffee. Occasional live music/events.
