“Great Get Away”

On a trip to Wisconsin with members of my extended family, we stayed at the Honeybee Inn. It is a charming, romantic getaway. The rooms and furnishings are beyond comfortable. The breakfasts were fantastic. It was a very relaxed and romantic weekend. Barbara and Fred are excellent hosts. We have already booked a return trip in January. This is the best B and B we've experienced :->

My wife and I were looking for a B&B in Southeastern Wisconsin for our 10 year wedding anniversary. We had always wanted to do a B&B and thought it would be perfect for our anniversary. After some web searching, I found the website for Honeybee Inn in Horicon. We got it for two days and two nights just last week. It was awesome!!! We got the Queen Bee room and it was great. We were the only guests there during this time and we were treated like royalty by Barb. The house is so peaceful and beautiful. The breakfast's were totally perfect. The town of Horicon is also cute. For shopping excursions, Beaver Dam is just 15 minutes away. Lots of great area restaurants for lunch and dinner. It was a perfect anniversary spot for my wife and I and we plan to visit it again some day...hopefully soon!!!

We just returned from a Saturday night escape to the Honeybee Inn in Horicon, WI. It was fantastic! Barb was there to greet us and welcome us in to her warm home. We stayed in the Country Nectar room. It was beautifully decorated and cozy. The original fireplace was magestic and warm. We soaked in the two-person tub and had a marvelous night sleep in the beautiful four-poster bed. All of this was wonderful and topped off by the fantastic breakfast we had Sunday morning. Stuffed french toast, thick-cut bacon and parmesan potatoes. YUM-O!

Our stay at Honeybee Inn was wonderful. Our room (Country Nectar) had an incredibly comfortable "made for sleeping well in - even away from home" feather bed, an air jet whirlpool tub, private bathroom with shower, and a fireplace. We had 24 hour access to the internet, a refrigerator, popcorn, tea, coffee, soda, bottled water, CD player/CD's, movies, cable TV/VCR, and, of course, the "sweeter than honey" beautifully renovated old home. Barb, the owner and hostess, was very warm and helpful. The highlight of our stay was the "more than yummy" breakfast that Barb served to us with a smile both mornings. We received half off on the second night (Winter Midweek Special) which was also nice. If peaceful and beautiful is what you are looking for, you'll really enjoy the Honeybee Inn!

We recently spent an evening at the Honeybee and what a great place to relax! We called ahead prior to our stay and they made a great reservation for dinner. We came back to a quiet evening in a super room. We had a king size bed, spa tub and a shower with 9 showerheads. If that was not enough we got up the next morning to an unbelievable breakfast. Barb outdid herself with the food and the service. The Inn had all of the small touches that we look for in our little get aways. We would definitely recommend this place to everyone! We are looking forward to coming back in the fall and taking in the sights!

What's a Bed & Breakfast?
The Honeybee Inn is definitely the perfect definition of what every B&B experience should be. Let's start with the warm welcome when arriving at the front door. Just looking into this beautiful house made you want to jump right in to explore all it has to offer. It is decorated just perfectly to show class, elegance and most importantly comfort.

We stayed 2 nights in the Country Nectar room and had the absolute most amazing "Bed". The fluffy down pillow top bed with a cozy comforter made you never want to get out. We were really able to wind down from city life and enjoy ourselves, whether it was reading or watching a movie (over 100 to choose from) or just relaxing in the hot tub in front of the fire.

Waking up in the morning to the delicious aromas coming from the kitchen were wonderful. Barb is a phenomenal chef and really puts the
"Breakfast" in our definition! Her homemade preparation and presentation was just an added bonus to the delicious platters that she served each morning. After Saturday's breakfast, we thought, how's she going to top that and without a doubt she did on Sunday!!! Barb & her husband were so welcoming and friendly that after all we had at the Honeybee Inn we didn't want to leave.
You will not be disappointed at the Honeybee Inn!!

We have just returned from a mid-week two night stay at the Honeybee Inn Bed and Breakfast in Horicon, Wisconsin. The Inn is magnificent. The moment you walk through the door you feel welcomed. The decor is beautiful, it gives you a warm homey feel where you just want to curl up on the sofa in front of the fireplace with a good book. Our room was more than we expected it has the most comfortable bed we've ever had. It was so soft and cozy you feel like your melting into a cloud. Add that to the warmth and glow from the in-room fireplace and now you have the makings of a very romantic evening. It was so hard to drag ourselves out of our room for dinner.

The area restaurant selections ranged from fast food to call for reservation. At dinner even the steaks couldn't keep us from thinking how awesome it was going to be to get back to the peace and tranquility of the Inn and our room.

Sitting in the dining room in front of the fireplace was such a romantic way to start our day. The breakfast that Barb created for us each day was so delicious. The food not to mention the presentation was so much more than we expected. She definatly puts "breakfast" back into Bed and Breakfast. This is not a serve yourself a muffin and coffee kind of B&B.

The little touches they put into their home to make your stay memorable is exactly what they do. We were swept away from the hustle and bustle of our every day life. For three days we relaxed and enjoyed each others company and fell in love all over again.
Overall, I would say this is probably the best Bed and Breakfast we've stayed at.
