I visited the Stube for drinks with some friends from work on Friday. The bar tender was very friendly and knowledgeable. I admittably don't know much about beer and don't drink it too often. But the bartender gave me samples of a few he thought I might like. Then he told me about the German beer I had picked and what sorts of beer I should order if I go out somewhere else and wanted something similar. (Turns out I like Amber Ales =)
The atmosphere was relaxed but still mature. (This isn't a college kids establishment). There was an accordion player who walked around and played music. Some traditional type music and some that was more contemporary (including a great rendition of Piano Man).
Over all it was a good evening. The price isn't cheap, but it's not too bad for quality beer either (I am told).
