Decided to eat here instead of a chain restaurant while visiting relatives. We wanted a quick sandwich. The restaurant was very busy on a Saturday with eat in and carry out customers so it looked promising. Hubby had the Saturday special of Chicago Dog, fries and soda , a good value plus chili and he liked it all, He did eliminate the sport peppers on the dog though. I had the Turkey sandwich with artichoke dip, cheese and tomato on toasted sourdough bread. This sounded better than it was. The proportion of turkey to other ingredients was way too much turkey. The turkey seemed to be a roasted, shredded turkey breast which was very dry and didn't taste that good. The other ingredients were very tasty so I removed most of the turkey and then ate it. The root beer float for .99 was a treat. Hubby would like to go back again, I may give it another try with a different menu item.
