“Best brats ever!”

In addition to their home made chips, local beers and other good food, they serve delicious foot long bratwurst. And they have a great golf course.
The service is very good.

“From Fish Fry to the Reuben Sandwich. . . A Delight”
Reviewed 14 March 2013

The Cursing Stone Pub is a hidden jewel in the Janesville area. Take my word and if you are looking for a warm atmosphere, tasty sandwiches or dinner fare, by all means head this way! I'm used to eating in the larger restaurants in Milwaukee and Madison and this is one that has the quality and service you would expect in those locales. Try the Irish fries with your sandwich and sample a good Gray's local brew from the tap or a fine mixed drink. A cut above the other area restaurants.

“Great food & Friendly staff”
Reviewed 23 March 2012

The Cursing Stone Pub is a great place to enjoy a quick bite (Chicago style hot dogs or a turkey sandwich) when you're making the turn from the front 9 to the back 9 of the Glen Erin golf course, but it's also a fantastic place to go for lunch or dinner with family, friends, or for business.

The menu has good variety of classics and dishes with an Irish flair (Emerald Isle Eggrolls or Irish nachos - YUM!). They also have my all-time favorite Friday fish-fry in the area. With a side of Chef Paula's famous coleslaw (the only slaw I'll eat!), and a cold drink from the great bar, I'm in heaven!

On warm summer nights, the patio is a great place to eat, drink & be merry.

The dining room is small, so Friday nights will have a waiting list - reservations for groups are highly encouraged.

Glen Erin/Cursing Stone Pub also has event facilities for reunions, golf outings, weddings, etc.

All in all, a great place to go!
