The beach is located within the town and there is a charge for use up to Labour Day. The beach is small, clean and safe. Close in water is shallow. Not sure if there is a lifeguard, umbrellas, or chairs.

Lake Geneva is geared more toward boating activities, not hanging on the beach, so the local stretches of sand are not the main destination for most tourists. I'm a midwesterner transplanted to the East Coast, so it took a while to adjust to the smallish-ness of Riviera Beach. Having said that, it's a nice little in town beach, with a nice rinse-off outdoor shower and a really GREAT bath house with individual shower stalls, pretty comfortable changing booths and really nice and clean bathroom area. There isn't a concession, but you can get food and drink pretty close to the beach. If you bring your own chairs, umbrella's and snacks, you're really good to stay the whole day. I've read complaints about parking, but we didn't have any problems with that. Entrance fee was reasonable (compared to MA!). Great for families.

The beach was nice. It cost $7.00 per adult to get in. Take a cooler and umbrella or tent and stay the day.

My little grandchildren had a great time at the beach. The food vendor was not very far, so my daughter went to buy lunch, and we had a nice picnic at the beach.

We went for the first time in years and it was perfect for the 21 month old with us. My brother and I had a great time jumping off the piers out a little deeper in the water, but it's very shallow otherwise and great for kids. It's a good idea to bring an umbrella and chairs and get there early.
