“Beautiful venue, expansive menu”
Reviewed 5 September 2013

Management of this lovely lake-side restaurant which opebed for the 2013 resort season responded well to early criticism: slow service, messy tables, etc. We disregarded the warnings, and were rewarded with a very good dinner..

Service was prompt, friendly and efficient, reversing the biggest criticisms of early reviews.

We found the pastas and salads to be very good, and the lightly breaded walleye entree was superb and plentiful.

On the outside deck, we saw a lovely view of the sunset.

“Beautiful location. Great food. Reasonable prices!”
Reviewed 2 September 2013

We've eaten here multiple times and always enjoy it! You can get here by car, boat, or a short walk from the condos or campground. Our favorite is the icelandic hadock sandwich. It is only $7 and comes with a fresh bun, homemade tarter sauce, and a heap of fries. Our kids love the cheese curds that come with excellent ranch dressing. The dining area has a wall of windows facing the lake and there is a large deck for dining. We've also enjoyed sitting out at the massive fire pit and making smores. They have a neat tiki bar, sand volleyball area, picnic tables, and swinging benches on the docks! They often have music on the weekends. The staff and owner are extremely nice and accomodating - We just learned that the owner is from Italy and named his restaurant after his favorite town there.
