We eat a Club Modern a few times a year. We usually go on Saturday nights because of the outstanding prime rib. Once again, the prime rib was "to die for!" You can't find prime rib this good anywhere in the area except at Club Modern. This place isn't much to look at from the street; the treasure is inside the supper club. Steve welcomes you with a big smile and his wife Linda is the perfect hostess. We had a round of cocktails before dinner. The drinks are served in healthy size glasses for the price. For dinner, three of us ordered the prime rib. Once again, it was mouthwatering and please don't order it "well done." Why ruin a great cut of meat? The cuts are fairly large. We had enough left over for prime rib sandwiches before the Packers played on Sunday. One of our guests ordered the salmon and it was baked just right, not over cooked and dried out like many restaurants. This is a family place. I'd encourage anyone visiting north central Wisconsin to give it a try!
