Went with some friends. Neat decor, in basement. Very New Orleans style. The salad that came with the entree was nice and there were a choice of homemade salad dressings, one of which was a real raspberry vinegrette which had read chunks of raspberries in it; and I had a cajun style dressing which was very very good.
I ordered the chef's choice. I got the blackened catfish with pecan encrusted outside. There was a very nice flavor, just enough heat in your mouth without burning. Perfect heat, actually. I have had nothing quite like this and it was excellent. Was served on a bed of dirty rice with mixed vegetables. Highly recommend.
Ordered a creme brulee; again, I was amazed at the quality. Very creamy, almost like a torte yet rich chocolate.
I would go back. The price wasn't bad either. About $35/pp with drinks.
