My fiancee and I visited Milwaukee and decided to have dinner here based on reviews. We were not disappointed. The ambiance was lovely - although admittedly somewhat dark. First they bring you fresh made bread with honey butter - the butter was so delicious and took the bread to another level. We ordered a salad to share - the Smyth Green. This was a unique and flavorful salad. I can say that I have never had anything like it; that being said it wasn't my favorite flavor combinations. It was somewhat bitter. That didn't stop us from eating most of it. My fiancee ordered the trout, which was beautifully presented and the best seafood that he has ever had. I ordered the chicken which was unbelievably tender with a very dynamic and flavorful sauce. We decided not to order dessert as the options just didn't appeal to us at the time, but I am certain that they would be just as good. I would recommend this place definitely!
