Very nice historic hotel with a very pleasant and accommodating staff. With a historic hotel you will have smaller elevators and smaller rooms, which is to be expected. The recent room renovation was very nicely decorated and laid out.
Great location if you are going to a Brewers game.

Strikingly nice hotel, a gem in its neighborhood. I liked the look of it and everyone was very nice & helpful. Especially the staff in the cafe. The room was spacious and very comfortable. I was happy to be there!

This hotel was straight out of the 1920's, including the quirky elevator that requires a bit of patience on the part of the passenger/guest. It was exciting to see the property restored to it's original granduer. The staff is excellent. The room was generously sized and the full sized tub made a bath possible. Best part: the windows open! The shuttle makes having a car almost unnecessary, and when they found out I was there to visit the VA Hospital, they offered to run me over to the hospital. The food in the restaurant was fine and fairly priced. And, you have to love a $6 craft beer.

Room Tip: the elevators are super slow, so if you're in a hurry, try for a lower floor.

Fabulous Hotel. Entire staff is always friendly and helpful. Rooms are always perfect. Shuttle will take you anywhere and always come get you. Sometimes you have to wait after a Brewer game, but they always come back till the last person is picked up. The lounge is never disappointing. Only hotel we have used for Brewer games and Summer fest for the last 3 years.

The Bartender was very rude and treated me as if was too much trouble to serve me a beer and dinner! I will not be back! I would not suggest going for dinner at least at the bar. The food was average.

We were very impressed with the entire hotel. It has been beautifully restored and has a high class appeal to it. The price was very reasonable. Our room was spacious, clean, quiet and very comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful. The complimentary shuttle service was by far most accommodating. Our driver, Sam, would take us back and forth all day and night to any destination and offered many ideas for places to visit. I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

This was a great place to stay. People were friendly. Shuttle service was a plus. Just have to be patient sometimes with pickup and to remember to call and get on their schedule to use the shuttle. Beds were very comfortable. Love the history behind the hotel. Felt you were back in time with the old fashioned/upscale touches. And loved Milwaukee....river walk, food. Want to go back again to finish looking around.
