“Little gem tucked away on Marquette's campus”
Reviewed 5 December 2013

This is an intriguing historical piece that was disassembled in France and shipped here to be reassembled on what is now the Marquette campus. This chapel is free to tour and a charming spot to peak into if you find yourself near Marquette University in the downtown area.

“3.5 overall - a quick visit of a historic site”
Reviewed 23 November 2013

We were not able to go inside the building - it appears it is only open at limited times. It is about a 10 to 15 minutes visit and if you are in the area/vicinity it is worth the quick stop. Parking is not convenient and it will take you at least 10 to 15 minutes to walk depending where you parked. It is inside the Marquette campus.

“A Piece of France in Milwaukee”
Reviewed 14 October 2013

This adorable chapel, on the grounds of Marquette University, was moved to Milwaukee in 1965. It is beautifully displayed and highlighted by meticulously attended grounds near the statue of Marquette. Unfortunately, the chapel was closed when we visited so we were not able to see the interior.

“Lovely medieval chapel”
Reviewed 6 October 2013

This lovely chapel sits in the heart of the Marquette campus. It is open to the public & free. Once you enter, you can feel as though you have stepped back in the Middle Ages.

“Lovely little chapel on the Marquette Campus.”
Reviewed 13 September 2013

Peaceful, tiny chapel imported from France in the center of the great urban Marquette campus. Worth a visit to this corner of the city.
