Very pleasant beach for a walk and some ice cream in July. Loads of volley ball action and plenty of green area for walking and playing sports.

Hidden beach in the Water Tower District with limited parking on site. Access to the beach by stairs from the residential areas or along lake shore.

Clean beach with volleyball facilities, food, life guards, and a roped off swimming area and numerous hiking trails. No BBQ, open alcohol. Beach is patrolled and looks clean and safe.

Being on the beach feels like a day on the ocean! Good weather is at a premium in Milwaukee, so when it strikes, the main boulevard is packed with sun seekers. A wonderful experience for families. New additions are tiki hut bars right on the beach and a cute little ice cream shop on the northern end.

People come to Milwaukee to see the museums and the zoo and the ball park, but the lakefront is probably the most beautiful part of Milwaukee. Lake Michigan, as a New Yorker once told me, might as well be the ocean. Milwaukee has done a great job with its lakefront. It is a phenomenal place to run, bike, or just take the kids and let them play in the sand. It should be added to any list of Milwaukee's best attractions.

We left our fabulous beach on the East coast to go to a beach in Milwaukee? Weird, but it was cool seeing Lake Michigan. Bradford Beach staff emphasized to all the AAU Jr Championship volleyball players that they pride themselves on having a clean beach and it truly is, complete with recycling trash cans next to regular trash bins. We did not partake of any of the food or drink options but the food seemed to be very reasonably priced, especially compared to our own tourist town. Bloody Marys were very popular and the other fruity beverages looked delicious. Some folks near us did take advantage of the umbrella, chair and cushion rental.

Parking is free, some spots are quite close, others a little bit of a hike but there is an unloading zone to make it easier to drop off people and stuff. Some cars were broken into, not sure if this is a usual occurrence or someone was taking advantage of all the out of towners with full vehicles.

Record low temps kept us out of the water but I did not sense the fishy smell that others have mentioned.
