This is a fun place to stop off for lunch or dinner. If you're coming from the water, you can easily dock your boat and walk up to the restaurant. There is a small playground outside to entertain kids who have been stuck sitting on a boat all day. The set-up is interesting - you don't get a waitress; instead, you fill out an order slip and hand it in at the bar, where you pay up-front. It's kind of a neat system, but the downfall is that if your group orders separately (in order to pay separately), the food does not all come out at the same time. Also, beware when placing your order that they charge extra for all the little extras (ranch, etc.). They have a great selection of beers, and you can even order a 100-oz one! The food is decent; some things are better than others. I did not care for the bourbon-glazed wings, but the beer-battered fries were good and "The Hogger" is a must for anyone with an appetite. Overall, it was a fun stop for us, and I'd go back.

Went here with a large group. Wasn't very busy. We all ordered food & drink. They got two of the orders wrong. The food is average bar type food. This place could be super cool if they kicked the food up a notch or two. The drinks were weak. One thing I did enjoy was the outdoor screened in seating. The play area for the kids was great and the view was wonderful.

The pontoon we rented for 8 hours at $225 was a piece of junk. The pontoon died on us twice, and went under water at the front numerous times. The boat went so far under water that the bag I had on my lap was drenched and camera ruined. The dog I was holding in my lap almost washed away. Because of the unstability of the pontoon we were not able to go to all the locations on Castle Rock Lake we are used to frequenting. In fact, we only used $20 in gas for the day, returning it at least 4 hours earlier than it was due back. DO NOT rent a pontoon from these people!

We rented a pontoon boat from the Dirty Turtle. It ruined our day. It dies twice in the middle of the lake and almost sunk 5 different times. We werre afraid for our lives. We returned the boat after only having it for a short time and they would not give us a refund. The owner was very rude! Please do not rent from them, very UNSAFE!
